Alexander T. Mazal, M.D.

Alexander Mazal received his M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 2020 and completed his internship in Surgery at Dell Medical School, University of Texas at Austin in 2021. He completed residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Stanford University in 2025, followed by a Neuroradiology Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, completed in 2026.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I grew up aspiring to become an architect. It wasn’t until I took organic chemistry in college that I discovered my interest in science and medicine. I was later drawn to radiology when I recognized that it requires much of the same spatial reasoning and intuition as architecture and organic chemistry.
