Mollie Johnson joined Delaney Radiology in 2002. She has a B.A. in Chemistry from Arizona State University. She completed the Physician Assistant Program at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University in 1996. She has practiced as a physician assistant in Wilmington since 1996, with experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery and Rehabilitation Medicine. Mollie is board certified by the NCCPA and a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. |
Shannon Whitaker, PA-C

Shannon Whitaker received a B.S. in Biology in 1989 from Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. In 1991, she received her B.H.S. as a Physician Assistant at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Shannon practiced family medicine for five years in Fairmont and Holly Ridge, North Carolina. She then practiced with Eastern Carolina Emergency Physicians in Wilmington for six years in their urgent care departments/facilities. She is board certified by the NCCPA and a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Shannon has been with Delaney Radiologists since August, 2002. |
Kathy Black, PA-C

Kathy Black earned a Radiological Technologist certificate from Arnot Ogden Memorial Hospital, School of Radiologic Technology in Elmira, New York in 1989 and was subsequently employed as a Radiologic Technologist at New Hanover Health Network. She then completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC graduating Cum Laude before continuing on to obtain her Physician Assistant degree from Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Wake Forest University in 2001. She is board certified by the NCCPA and is a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She has worked with Delaney Radiology since graduation in 2001. |
